Bye, Baltimore...Hello, Bucks County!

I am happy to share the news that I have moved to Doylestown, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. I am keen to continue serving my clients in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia (just a train ride away) and am looking forward to working with new clients in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and throughout the US!

Please keep me in mind for interim marketing director positions, marketing campaigns, or planning projects. No project is too big or too small; High Five has assembled a team of marketing and communications specialists and we can tailor a team for your project, event, or campaign. See below for news about what we've been up to.

Maryland Sip & Savor and Her Mind magazines

I always dreamed of being a travel and food writer. Who doesn't? Thanks to my colleague Martha Thomas, a brilliant writer/editor, I started freelancing for two lifestyle and food magazines: Her Mind and Maryland Sip and Savor. For Sip and Savor I have been writing “starters,” five short articles at the beginning of the magazine on food news and trends in the region. If you are interested in WHY I moved to Doylestown, read about a romantic weekend I spent in Ocean City, MD in the newest issue of Her Mind.

Mount Vernon Community Children's Theatre

It has been wonderful to return home to a client I worked with for ten years who is near and dear to me: Mount Vernon Community Children's Theatre. I am helping the board and staff with strategic planning to assess the feasibility of expanding its education programming. We plan to continue this work and delve into long-term stabilization. MVCCT was founded in 1980 and has been serving the Mount Vernon area of Alexandria with productions by kids/for kids, summer theater camp, and after-school programs.

American Shakespeare Center

I continue to work with the American Shakespeare Center in Staunton, VA. I cannot say how much I love this group: the mission, the people, the artistry, the spirit. Please take a moment to see the exciting news about the first two plays to be produced in the Shakespeare's New Contemporaries project.

Shriver Hall Music Series

Shriver Hall Music Series, a real Baltimore gem, engaged my help with audience communications and relations during the hall’s renovation project. Throughout my career, I have helped many organizations through facility changes, moves, or expansions. It has become one of my professional specialties.
